Indications for HBOT:
Our facility treats patients with the following internationally recongised, evidence-based indications of HBO:

Arterial Gas Embolism (iatrogenic or dive-related)

Decompression Sickness ("the bends")

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: severe, with persistent neurological or cardiac complications

Therapeutic radiation tissue damage -- bone & soft tissue (including mandible, skin, bladder & bowel)

Selected Problem Wounds (certain selected diabetic wounds, pressure sores, etc.)​

Crush Injuries/Acute Traumatic Ischemia where there is compromised perfusion & oxygen delivery

Sudden Idiopathic Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Compromised skin grafts & flaps​

Clostridial Myonecrosis (Gas gangrene)

Necrotizing Infections not responding to surgery alone

Chronic Refractory Osteomyelitis

Brain abscesses that are inoperable

Acute Retinal Artery Occlusion

Acute Thermal Burns

Acute Blood Loss Anaemia (if transfusion is not possible)
